Meet Susan, Registered Nurse

Susan has been part of the DANS In Home Care nursing team for five years, providing practical, reassuring clinical care to clients in their own homes.

A day out in the community

Each morning, Susan starts at the DANS office by reviewing her client list and preparing for the day ahead. She then heads out across the community, often visiting up to eight clients in a day.

Personal clinical care at home

Susan’s visits may include health checks, blood pressure monitoring, weight checks and wound care. Every client has different needs, so each visit is focused on providing the right care, attention and reassurance.

Care backed by a connected team

At the end of the day, Susan returns to the office to complete her charts and hand them back to the team. It is part of the behind-the-scenes coordination that helps ensure every client’s care is properly recorded, communicated and followed through.
