24-hour support that keeps you safe around the clock
Feel more at ease knowing help is there day and night.
We provide 24-hour support at home for older people, people with disability, and anyone needing continuous care - from overnight monitoring and personal support to around-the-clock help with daily routines.

What is 24-hour care and how does DANS do it differently?
24-hour care is continuous in-home care for those who require assistance throughout the entire day (and evening). This could be down to complex health needs, temporary support, or recovery during a period when no one else is available.
We approach 24-hour care a little differently. We blend clinical oversight from our registered nurses with general care-worker support such as personal care, domestic assistance and medication help. That gives you a plan tailored to the full 24 hours. This can often bring families peace of mind, as care needs increase and you want to remain at home.
Around-the-clock care from staff who know you.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Questions about in home care, funding, and getting started? We've answered the ones we hear most.
What is 24-hour support?
24-hour support is in-home care across the full day and night - either staff awake around the clock or an overnight presence for safety and reassurance. It suits people who cannot safely be left alone but want to stay in their own home rather than move into residential care.
Who might need 24-hour care?
People with complex care needs, dementia, high falls risk or palliative care needs - and families who need more support than daytime visits can provide. It is also used short-term after hospital discharge while someone regains strength and confidence.
Can Registered Nurses be involved in 24-hour support?
Yes. Registered Nurses plan and oversee 24-hour care, manage clinical needs and review safety as things change. Overnight shifts are usually delivered by experienced care workers, with nurse-led clinical support behind them.
