Personal care can feel daunting and very private, so we focus on matching the right staff member to you or your loved one. By finding someone with a similar personality or outlook, we build trust over time and deliver respectful care that supports your independence.

What does personal care include?
Personal care covers help with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and safe movement around the home - the daily routines that keep you comfortable, clean and well. It is delivered in your own home at times that fit your routine.
Is personal care delivered respectfully?
Yes. Personal care is exactly that - personal. Support is provided with privacy and patience by trained care workers, and wherever possible by the same small team, so you are not explaining your routine to a stranger at each visit.
Can personal care be arranged at the same time each day?
Where possible, yes. Routine matters, especially for showering and dressing, so DANS schedules personal care at consistent times agreed with you. Tell us your preferred times when you get in touch.
