The DANS team are a group consisting of over 30 Health Care Professionals, offering professional, loving and individualised care to those who wish to remain independent and, in their homes, as they age or become unwell. This level of care is provided under the clinical direction of experienced Registered Nurses, who specialise in elderly and disabled care.
Our staff offer a premium service available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With no long-term fixed contracts needed, we can provide flexible care that matches your needs as they change. Whether you need support on discharge from hospital, or transport to get to appointments or even palliative support, our Dubbo are nursing service can adapt to your needs.
If you are looking for Private Care services, our team are on hand to provide that for you. We offer care packages on three different levels to suit your needs, and we can add and change services as they are required.
Every Private Care plan is assigned a Case Manager, who is the first port of call to discuss the plan. This Case Manager is always on hand and will begin the process with you by learning exactly what is needed. This will then be translated into a full Service Plan – outlining exactly what nursing services are required and when. In this plan, personal care requirements and domestic assistance needs are outlined, as well as things like nursing care, breaks for carers and transport. We will work with families to implement our individualised solution and ensure that you are supported to stay at home.
Packages Available:
Basic Care – up to 4 hours per week
This package includes things like cleaning, showering/bathing and laundry.
Independence Inhome – up to 8 hours per week
This package could include cleaning, showering, laundry, shopping and transport.
Premium Lifestyle – up to 20 hours per week
In this package, we can offer personal and domestic assistance – along with medication, respite and physiotherapy.

When dealing with a family member suffering from dementia, it is always a difficult and challenging time. We know that dementia is a catch-all term for multiple diseases – all of which cause cognitive decline and loss of ability to function normally.
Because we have specialised experience in working with dementia patients, we are ideally placed to help patients make the positive decision to remain at home – improving their lives by helping them to remain independent, comfortable and safe.
Another really difficult time for families is when a patient is approaching the end of their life. Our caring team works with GPs and Community Palliative Care teams to provide options that facilitate a patient’s wishes for them to remain at home. Not only do we provide care and support for the patient, but we also work with the family to provide them with the emotional support and advice they need.
