How fast can I start?
Most people go from first call to first shift within a few weeks, depending on checks. Request a call back and we will map out your start date together.
How are shifts allocated?
Shifts are matched to your availability, location and clients. We aim for consistent clients so you can build real relationships rather than visit a different person every day.
Can I choose my availability?
Yes. Tell us the days and hours that work for you, and we build your roster around them. School-hours, part-time and full-time patterns can all work.
How far will I need to travel?
We roster you to clients close to home, typically within 20 minutes. Travel between client visits is covered under our travel policy, which we explain on your call.
What will I need before my first shift?
You will need a short list of standard checks and clearances. We walk you through each item on your call back. DANS reimburses the costs once you start with us.
Do I need qualifications?
No. Many of our best people started with no care experience. You can earn while you complete a Certificate III through our learn-and-earn pathway, with registered nurses supporting you on the job.
