What our client's loved ones have said about DANS
What it costs - no surprises
Cost is usually the first question families ask - and the reason many put this conversation off. Our fees are published, and government funding through Support at Home can cover much of the cost.
The guided planner walks you through likely fees and the funding pathway for your situation, step by step.

You decide what's next
Maybe it's nothing yet. Maybe it's a home visit. Either way you'll know your options - no obligation.

Common questions you may have about getting help at home
Will the same carers come each time?
We match carers to your loved one and keep the team consistent where possible. Familiar faces matter, especially where memory is a concern.
What government funding is available?
Support at Home funding covers much of the cost for eligible older Australians. The guided planner walks you through eligibility and how to apply, and we help with the paperwork.
Can care really start with just a couple of hours?
Yes. Many of our clients started exactly there. Hours can increase or decrease as needs change, and you are never locked in.
Is in-home care better than a nursing home?
For early needs, staying at home with the right support can preserve independence and routine. Starting with a few hours a week also costs far less than residential care.
How do I raise this with Mum or Dad without upsetting them?
Start small and practical. Help with the garden or a lift to appointments can feel very different to saying "you need care". Our advisors can suggest wording that has worked for other families.
Do I need qualifications to apply?
No. Many of our best people started with no care experience. You can earn while you complete a Certificate III with our learn-and-earn pathway, and registered nurses support you on the job.
Easier to talk it through?
You'll reach a Central West local, not a call centre.
